The most important activities of the Municipality of Palilula and the municipal government and the authorities in Palilula in 2013, are application of quality standards in the work of municipal administration, creation of conditions for the project by providing the necessary resources to improve the quality of life for all categories of the population of the municipality, stimulating interest and support for youth organizing; affirmation of entrepreneurship and creating the conditions for new employment; achieved regional cooperation - especially with the cities and municipalities in Bulgaria, savings, responsibility, the fight against crime and system corruption, said the president Boban Džunić, at the annual conference, which was held on 26.12.2013 in Media center Nis.

Plans for  2014 include the continuity of municipal work. The conference was also attended by Marija Brajdić , Head of the municipal administration of Palilula, and Milos Stojkovic , president of Palilula Assembly. According to the President Džunić " in accordance with the current trend of movement of capital,  in 2013 Municipality of Palilula was pro-active in seeking funds and attracting foreign investment. All potentials that Municipalities are focused are the development and implementation of new projects, in order to solve the problems of citizens, their employment, and achieving complete customer satisfaction for the people of Palilula and closer to EU standards. We will be monitoring the realization of the program of development of the city of Nis for the current year, but in some areas of municipality of Palilula people express dissatisfaction with the pace and quality of work planned investment, particularly in the infrastructure and utility .

Expectations of our citizens are great, while urban municipalities jurisdiction has shrunk, said Milos Stojkovic, president of Municipal Assembly of Palilula. That is why we have launched an initiative to the city, and it is after our initiatives the City Council developed a request to the Republic, to be determined by an act enabling the transfer of further competencies from the City to the city municipalities. Unfortunately, the process of decentralization and reorganization of local government is very slowly achieved.
